Long Term Supports and Service Manager
Betty J. Evansky (‘Bebe’) is a Long Term Services & Supports Manager with The Center for Independent Living of North Central PA. In this role, Bebe manages a team providing all aspects of long-term living, including Service Coordination and Nursing Home Transition. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lock Haven University, PA.
Bebe is no stranger to the Social Services field having spent 5 years as the Nursing Home Transition Coordinator where she successfully transitioned consumers from a nursing home back into the community to live independently.
Before joining the CIL in January 2013, Bebe worked for 20+ (years) for a diverse range of organizations, including Brodart, Lycoming/Clinton Aging Office and West Branch Susquehanna Builders Assoc. In these roles, Bebe was responsible for Product Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Managing a Senior Center.
Bebe currently oversees the goals and objectives of the Home and Community Based Services and Nursing Home Transition Services programs for the CIL. She is responsible to ensure that all programs are operational and in compliance with the regulations set forth by each individual funding source.
Bebe offers 25+ years of experience from business to social services and now focusing on Long-Term Services for consumers. Bebe is a big believer in animal rights and supports several local and national animal organizations and shelters.
